E.L.F.’s Truly Exfoliating Wipes for $3

+ their Eye Cream that Does Not Upset my eyes! 1st time for me, so far…

E.L.F. has this excellent Hot off the Press: Spend $25 and get 6 beauty editor picks for just $6 (a $20 value!) Offer Valid 9/29-10/5 with promo code EDITOR! deal, and a few more, as usual these days! Here is my experience with E.L.F.’s

Makeup Removing Exfoliating Cleansing Cloths

While I have tried various facial wipes, and enjoyed many, even the ones that said they were exfoliating actually seemed to be.

Not so with E.L.F.’s! These lovely and inexpensive wipes are to be tried if you wanted an exfoliator in a wipe close to S.t Ives Apricot Scrub! You get 10 for $3. They have a soft side, which we are supposed to use for makeup removal
Then the rough side for that oh-so-freshly-scrubbed feel, I for one, love!
Then we are supposed to rinse…

For me, the whole point of having wipes in my bedroom is,
I like to freshen up when I am away from the sink…
So I followed my usual wipes I rely on for this and My skin feels Clean and Great!

The rough side of these cloths is truly that, rough. So you can go too rough…
That said, if I were not rushing,
I would have stopped and rubbed my feet down with them before disposing of them!

E.L.F. Illuminating Eye Cream

For $10 I am thrilled. I have tried a few others that cost more, and either the fumes or the cream its self, ends up in my eyes. Then I never use it again…

This says we can use it at our eye and brow area, and suggest we use the rest of their inexpensive regime, which I may try later…

E.L.F’s absorbs completely. I have been using it for a week now and even with the return of the heat and humidity lately, Even my sweat does not carry it into my eyes. Using powder eye shadow as I do, I can really appreciate how nicely hydrated my eyelids are now!

  • Less money spent!
  • Great results
  • Always some excellent deals

E.L.F. is going from making both makeup and skin care more affordable, with better results and more enjoyable for me!

I hope you are enjoying their fine products too!

Full Figure Fashion Week Videos

Full Figure Fashion Week is something I have been aware of and lack the time to even view the lovely videos of, never mind attend…

That said, this AM on my personal Facebook page I found many excellent videos from this years posted by the very lovely Gwen DeVoe, shared one on this page’s Facebook page, followed Gwen’s and suggest you to the same to enjoy many more of these beautiful examples of full figure style!

As it happens one has to view some, (possibly all?), on YouTube anyway,
so here is one I am current viewing in between stuff I have to get done.

Even viewed in parts, it is a runway show I figure so many more women would enjoy as well!

I love the direction(s), full figure fashion has taken in this last decade!

Just keeps getting better and better!

What do You Think?

Ashley Stewart’s Status Print Full Figure Fashions

Something about the chains in the print used in these styles reminds me of Hermes Scarfs.
Hermes scarfs have been worn by royalty and celebrities and the like, (which you can read about in this The Hermes Scarf: History & Mystique book available at Amazon), it could be these prints are inspired by some of these beautiful scarfs.

I have been a longtime fan of Hermes scarfs, and occasionally scope them out at eBay stores, where they are no more affordable to me the than above mentioned book about them…

Still, I love browsing them, just in case I win the lottery, which I play, about twice a year if that.
Just in case you are interested: Hermes Silk Scarfs at eBay stores link, for your convenience and mine!

Now here is a look at Ashely Stewart’s oh So Affordable

Status Print Fashions

They have this print, which most reminds me of the above mentioned Hermes scarfs, in this pencil skirt, cold shoulder dress and a jump suit.

All of these, and the other status print dress I will also show, are available in sizes 12 to 26 and on Sale!

 Status Print Pencil Skirt

This is the cold shoulder dress in a similar print style. Cold Shoulder Status Print Dress

This is their Studded Status Print dress, studs at the cap sleeves and subtly asymmetrical cut, side slit hem.

 Studded Status Print Dress

Although this print does not remind me of Hermes scarfs, possibly because the chains in it do not have a sparkly color, I like it a lot.

These styles are in Ashely Stewarts Modern Classics collection.
Which also includes:
  • sheer paisley tunics
  • Suede and Leather Looks
  • Retro Chic looks
  • Mesh cut out tops and Tulle skirts
and other nice work week styles!

Here is a picture of a, near, example of a style of Hermes scarf with chain print two of Ashley Stewart’s Status prints reminds me of.
I found using the above eBay stores link at the top of this post.

It is a different fall fashion season for me so far!
Usually I am enjoy the return of plaids at this time of year.
This year, I am finding more prints I really like!

How about You?

African Print Full Figure Fashions

At Just My Size and Fashion to Figure, so far

Checking out what deals Just My Size has today, (Free Shipping, no minimum purchase for one), I noticed they had African Print styles in!

Wildly enthused, as I have been following some people on Pinterest who show plenty of those, and loving it, I checked them out. Not bad, off to a good start, but I would also have to add this link to Fuller Figure Fuller Bust’s African Inspired Plus Size Clothing post and Refinery29’s Masaari Introduces African Inspired Designs in Sizes6-24,

as well as try to link to what came up on a search of African Plus Size Fashions (I hope that link works so you can get a better idea of what I expected...), when I searched Pinterest.
I wanted to find the related boards I am following regarding this as well, but am running out of time.

What came up at the top when I Googled African Prints in Full Figure Fashions was actually Fashion To Figure.

They do not have an actual place for these, as JMS does, so I am assume it might mean what they have in their Power Prints section…

I am leaving out any abstract leopard like prints here. Both stores do have them.

Some of JMS’ African Inspired Print styles

This side ruched tunic comes in sizes 1X to 4X, as do the dress and other JMS top shown here. This tunic is made of a silky feel, wrinkle resistant fabric.

Their Watercolor print dress comes in is made of a stretchy, silky machine washable fabric.

This is their ¾ sleeve Melanie top in antique olive.
It comes in this print in a red and gray colors as well.
It has an excellent review from a woman who tells it, great with slacks and skirts, no wrinkles!
This top is nice for its layered look without the bulk.

Some of Fashion to Figure’s Power Print Styles

While I like, and in the case of FTF’s Kyra abstract print dress, love the cut of the dresses tribal and geometric print ruched dresses I am going to show below.

I do not care much for the ruched at the center seam of the back design of these dresses…

Just check it out yourself at FTF These styles below are all currently available in sizes 0 to 3, (12 to 24). You should be able to click on these pictures here to go directly to these styles at each of these stores, where a back, and other, views are available.

Kyra Tribal Print is unique in both its print and the subtle use of the V--neck cross-over neckline that all three of these dresses shown here share.

This is their Zyra Zebra Print dress. I think the abstract and zebra prints make the most of the ruched front of these dress styles!

Currently Fashion to Figure also has:
  • abstract leopard print
  • Zip front and sweetheart dresses
  • chiffon top
  • and leggings
  • as well as other animal abstract and geometric print dresses and a jumpsuit
in their Power Print department

I will be searching other online stores and sources for more tribal and African print inspired full figure fashions styles, hoping they begin to come in the astonishingly beautiful prints I find on Pinterest, soon!
